A bi-coastal, classically trained musician-turned-DJ / Producer, Whitney has been honing her craft for over a decade. She’s performed at premier festivals, events and notable venues across the US and internationally. In Los Angeles and New York, her name has become synonymous with her nightlife event productions, which have a reputation for being late night, experiential dance-music focused nights.
The roots of her signature sound are grounded in soul music, and her sets build on layers of disco, vocal and deep house, funk and driving, percussive rhythms. Armed with an instinct for reading a crowd and an ability to artfully mix genre-blending sets has taken her to Berlin, Tokyo, Ibiza, Miami, Las Vegas, San Diego, Montreal, Stockholm, Sydney, Vienna, Munich & beyond. From underground warehouses to European music festivals, tropical circuit parties, sports arenas and celebrity studded benefits, she’s shared the stage with DJs and artists such as Honey Dijon, Barbara Tucker, Moby, Crystal Waters, Cece Penniston, LCD Soundsystem and Bebe Rexha, to name a few. Day’s infectious passion for mixing music and creating on-the-fly sets keeps the vibe fresh & energetic at each performance.
As a producer, Day has written music for television and film, and has been commissioned to remix for artists such as Daya, MILCK, Starley and Kat Cunning.
